Motel 6 Huron, OH - Sandusky

I liked that Motel 6 was a decent drive to Cedar Point. The pool and hot tub temperatures were great. The beds weren't at home great beds but for the price it was a place to sleep. I didn't think the beds were bad. Front desk were very nice when we checked in and out. Improvements - I wish the pool had longer hours. It would be nice to come from Cedar Point and soak in the hot tub before bed. Our floor wasn't swept, there was trash under bedside tables. I was going to have them sweep while we were away for the day but no one was at the desk when we left. The top portion of the fridge had 3-4 inches of ice but the fridge didn't keep items cold. When we used the microwave it had a horrible smell so we didn't use it after that. We couldn't get the TV to work correctly. Not a huge deal to us, going back to Cedar Point when we wake. We didn't know the window was cracked open the 1st night so we were cold that night. When I opened the curtain the next morning saw it was opened. Yes, you hear the train but we only heard it a few times each night and it wasn't as loud as I thought. Overall, I would stay here again.

Honestly, 2nd best motel 6 I've ever been to. The one in Cleveland Tennessee is the best, but this topples number two. I say this because the toilet kept running on and off in room 230. Also if you get a plain Jane room, you get no microwave or refrigerator, other than that, it was more of a hotel 6. This place was amazing, and just in a perfect spot. You have Arby's, Wendy's, and McDonald's right there. Plus you have the express way....this was the perfect spot. Oh and the pool was not to hot or cold, it was just right. They do NOT have breakfast only coffee, but I don't really eat breakf but thought I'd tell the people. It would NOT allow me to post pictures which i took, kinda makes me wonder why, especially because this place is nice...

Diana, Laura and Carla and Sandy are absolutely amazing. My 3 year old absolutely loves them. Made us feel very welcomed. We are going to be here for quite awhile. They absolutely love my Siberian husky blue.

Hotel wasn't bad. The bed was really comfortable and the room was clean. Nothing fancy but really wasn't bad at all. Pool was clean too. Id definitely stay again.

It was alright. What i didn't like is that it didn't serve breakfast. I stayed for two days. The room was decent. I was comfortable there. Sometimes you will hear a train but that didnt bother me. It wasn't loud or anything. This hotel is recommendable. It wasn't pricey either. It has a pool and a jacuzzi ..and they are both heated which was amazing. It was definitely a surprised to jump into a nice warm pool instead of a cold one. I loved it.

I booked 2 rooms here for my Birthday getaway. The staff was so friendly and had no problems answering any questions we had and also made sure they had our room’s adjoining :) The indoor pool was a blast when we got rained out of Cedar Point , and the best part our rooms where BUG FREE !!!! The hallways, elevator and front where a little dirty from traffic and a little rough around the edges, but all and all for the price you pay and about 25 minutes from Cedar Point ..Not To Shabby! Train track very close !!!!

Staff is great and helpful Hot tub pool area is great I like the rooms with the countertop in the middle w/ sink, frig, & micro so we can bring foods. Rooms are good little dated but good. Bathrooms could use deep cleanings around baseboards n walls. Great Mexican restaurant across bridge Good distance from Cedar Point

Very basic room,but acceptable for a short stay,although I'm sad to say the bed was really not the greatest... Would benefit from a memory foam topper..The pool and hot tub temps were perfect! Would have enjoyed a coffee maker in the room,but they do have a nice selection of drinks in the vending machines.staff was friendly. Overall satisfied with our visit.
